The calculation
The amount, the rate, the bar and the flat rate comparison are all computed in your browser. Nothing is sent anywhere and nothing is written to storage.
Levy has no account, no database and no cookies. There is no server to send a calculation to, because every sum on the page is worked out on your own machine.
The amount, the rate, the bar and the flat rate comparison are all computed in your browser. Nothing is sent anywhere and nothing is written to storage.
Kept sums live in the page for as long as the tab is open, and go when you close or reload it. That is why the tool says to copy them before you leave. They are never part of a share link.
Share puts the figures you typed into the address itself — the amount, the rate, the mode — so that anyone with the link sees the same calculation. Nothing is stored at our end, and the link carries no ledger and no pinned comparison.
Levy uses Google Analytics configured to set no cookies at all (client_storage: "none", advertising features off). It counts which actions happen — a mode changed, a sum kept, a link shared — and never what you typed. No amount, no expression, no ledger name is ever part of an event.
The address bar is trimmed before anything is reported. Because a share link carries your figures in the query string, the default behaviour would post them into our analytics on every visit without you doing anything. Levy replaces the reported address with the bare path, so the numbers never arrive.
Your IP address reaches Google and Vercel as part of any request to any website, and is used for approximate location. We do not store it.
Levy is made by Digitopia Design Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales, trading as Digitopia Labs. For anything on this page, or to ask what we hold about you (which should be nothing), write to hello@digitopiadesign.com.
